Where do I even begin, our wedding day was perfect and I attribute a lot of that to Alice. I began the wedding planning journey a year out, with budgets, spreadsheets, mood boards, and powerpoint presentations. I was determined to do it all by myself and with my hotel and project management experience, I really thought I could. As we got close to the date, I started to get overwhelmed with the decisions, moving pieces, and backup plans. That was when a friend of mine recommended Alice. I was really resistant to the idea of a planner, mostly because it was never in the budget, but hiring Alice was the best investment I made. 

From our initial meeting I just felt instantly comfortable. I could tell she really cares and truly listens. I was confident that she would be able to take my ideas and just elevate them so that they were easy to execute and that there would be a contingency plan for EVERYTHING. I was definitely a high strung bride but on the day of, I was calm as a cucumber. From the rehearsal to the breakdown, Alice was on top of it all. No one asked me a single question about logistics and many of my guests commented on how attentive Alice was. She seemed to be everywhere at the same time. Our entire day was right on schedule, everyone had an amazing time, and I definitely could not have pulled it off without her. My biggest regret for the wedding planning process was not engaging her sooner, I couldn't even imagine how much easier this would have been if I had been planning with her from the beginning.

Wow! I don’t know where to start with Alice and her team. Every step of the way she is there. I first saw her work in action at one of my best friend’s weddings where I was the best man, and I was instantly impressed with her work. Needless to say, she was hired.

How do we begin to express how grateful we are for everything Alice did to help us plan our wedding? For two shy, introverted individuals who had no idea what to do, we are so thankful we had Alice to guide us through the whole process. 

We hired Alice from the very beginning as our wedding planner and every decision made after that was with her help. She helped us choose the color theme, visited venue locations with us, sat with us through every vendor hiring, worked to design our save-the-dates and invitations and menus, was so flexible with meeting times - the list goes on. We cannot say enough great things about Events with Alice! Working with Alice on planning our special day through her full planning package was both easy and fun. My favorite part of working with Alice was her patience and understanding throughout the entire planning journey. We took time deciding between different venues, cities, and sizing for our wedding. Alice is a super human. We had booked Alice over a year in advance for day of coordinator and from the moment that we had our first meeting my partner and I felt like we were in great hands. I believe we were the first couple to book a full wedding planning package with Alice when she first started Events with Alice, in the time we postponed our wedding due to Covid we are delighted to have seen her book and complete many more weddings during that time! Alice is fairly new to the wedding planning world, however Covid taught us many important lessons in wedding planning - saving and thoroughly reading contracts, understanding the true meaning of vendor deposits and refund policies (if all payments are named deposits, you might not be refunded anything!), project management, narrowing options for easier choice-making, and many more lessons. Alice was our month of coordinator for our wedding and working with her was hands down the BEST decision we made. We thought we were pretty organized and wouldn’t need too much guidance but there is honestly so much that goes into wedding planning and there’s really no way to remember everything without the help of a professional who has helped plan countless weddings!
